ABOUT GRAPHIC DESIGN

What is graphic design?

I would define graphic design as the profession of visual art; using a variety of mediums to convey an idea or thought to a person or audience—a practice of visual communication, organization, and, of course, persuasion.

A graphic designer uses research, typography, grid systems, photography, illustration, and symbols/symbolism to create a simple, effective visual solution within a client's specific limitations.

Do I really need a designer?

Yes. Graphic design is not simply superficial. Designers are, artistically, visual probem solvers and researchers. Give us a budget, a rough idea, an audience, a product and we will find a way to present your information to your audience clearly and effiicienty.

And, it will look good, too.
